50km "in Belgian speaking terms" is allot. We are not really used to "your" distances. Going out for dinner to Antwerp (if you reside in Brussels) almost requires a special occasion. Anyway, there's lot's and lot's to choose from, all depending on your personal preferences, budget, etc. Price - quality / location / easy access + parking / for all sorts of events, I'd say: in Antwerp > Zuiderterras (http://www.zuiderterras.be/), in Brussels that would be the BelgaQueen (http://www.belgaqueen.be/ ) and Lola (http://www.restolola.be/) What Clark suggests, Quincaillerie, is nice, but IMO less recommended should one wish to have "more intimate" exchanges. Usually very crowded, and seated very close to each other.

Austria is not option, it should be in close proximity of Munich. I think I will be going with Garmisch. I'm sure Sarina is wonderful Thea, but it's not for me... I'm only making arrangements

Vielen Dank. Already came across several links on the www you kindly suggested. Idea of this thread was to have 1 or 2 specific recommendations / suggestions out of own experience. Not knowing the area personally, would be kinda stupid to suggest mountain X from the www and turn out to be disappointing. Verstehst du? ;-)
